Turmeric Latte/Golden milk

Ingredients
  

  • 500 ml milk or vegan alternatives like almond, soy, cashew drink
  • 2 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp honey/coconut sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp coconut flour for a more like pudding consistency (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the milk/vegan drink and mix it with honey/coconut sugar or even xylit/stevia if you want a low-carb version.
  • Foam 1/4 of the amount of milk with a mixer. Mix the spices with the rest of the liquid.
  • Add some foamed milk to a glass and then pour the golden mixture you got in the previous step.
  • Add some foam on top, just like you would do for a latte macchiato.
    If you want to make it even more luscious, use some cream/coconut cream on top and you will transform your gold milk into an irresistible Starbucks-like drink.
  • Optional: If you prefer a thicker consistency, simply mix all the ingredients with 1-2tablespoons of coconut flour and let it sit a few minutes

Benefits
