Medicinal properties of gum

What is Gum?

When the stem of a tree is cut, the discharge that comes out of it becomes brown and hard on drying, it is called Gum. It is soft and nutritious. It also has medicinal properties of that tree itself. In Ayurvedic medicines, the gum is also used for binding powders for making tablets or vati.

Ashwagandha Churna

Metal nutritious, and can help to treat weakness of the eyes and gonorrhea. It’s also a potency enhancer, a semen enhancer, nutritious, and can help to remove wrinkles. Quantity: 5 to 10 grams with milk in the morning and evening.

Avipittkar Churna

The best medicine for acidity. It also can help with burning of the chest and throat, sour belching, and constipation. Moreover, all the troubles of bile diseases are calm with it. Dose: 3 to 6 grams with food.

Ashtanga Lavan Churna

Tasty and appetizing. In addition, it is especially beneficial for dyspepsia, anorexia, loss of appetite, etc. Quantity 3 to 5 grams after or before meals. You should eat little by little.

Amalaki Rasayan Churna

Nutritious, regular intake strengthens the body and senses. Quantity: 3 grams in the morning and evening with milk.

Amalkyadi Churna

Useful in all fevers, fire enhancer, appetizing and digestive. Quantity 1 to 3 tablets with water in the morning and evening.

Eladi Churna

Vomiting, a burning sensation in hands, feet, and eyes, it’s also beneficial in anorexia and indigestion and quenches thirst. Quantity from 1 to 3 grams with honey.

Gangadhar (large) powder

Diarrhea, loose stools, dysentery diarrhea, etc. Dosage: 1 to 3 grams with rice water or honey thrice a day.

Jatifaladi Churna as herbal ayurvedic medicine

It’s a great Ayurvedic herbal medicine, it treats diarrhea, congestion, stomach cramps, anorexia, indigestion, dyspepsia, vata cough, and cold. Quantity from 1.5 to 3 grams with honey.

Dadimashtak Churna

Tasty and appetizing. Moreover, it’ used to treat indigestion, agnimandya, Aruchi Gulm, Sangrahani, and throat diseases. Quantity: 3 to 5 grams after food.

Chaturjat Churna

Fire enhancer and digestive. Dosage: 1/2 to 1 gram thrice a day with honey.

Chopchinyadi Churna

On syphilis, gonorrhea, rheumatism, and ulcers. Quantity 1 to 3 grams in the morning and evening with water or honey.

Herbal decoctions as Ayurvedic medicines

One Ayurvedic way to use herbs as medicine is to prepare and consume herbal decoctions.

Dashmool decoction

It is beneficial in the treatment of anomalous fever, colic, pneumonia fever, maternity fever, typhus fever, excessive thirst, fainting, heart pain, chest pain, head and neck pain, back pain, and gonorrhea.

Mahamanjishthadi decoction

It is especially beneficial for all skin diseases, leprosy, itching, rashes, boils, pimples, gonorrhea, blood disorders, etc.

Mahasudarshan Kadha

This ayurvedic herbal medicine is especially beneficial in all types of fevers, increases appetite, and improves digestion power. Beneficial in breathing, coughing, and Pandu diseases. It’s also a blood purifier and liver stimulant.

Maha Rasnadi decoction

Beneficial in all gout diseases. It also can help to treat rheumatism, sarvangvat, paralysis, arthritis, inflammation, gulm, afra, katigraha, kubjata, thigh and janu pain, infertility, vaginal diseases, etc.

Extract Oregano as herbal ayurvedic medicine

Beneficial in the stomach and intestinal pain. In Addition, it is beneficial in indigestion, Afra, Ajirna, Mandagni, Deepak, and can cure digestive and liver diseases.

Extract decimal

Beneficial in labor fever and all types of gout diseases.

Extract Sudarshan as herbal Ayurvedic medicine

Beneficial in many types of fevers as it can reduce fever.

Extract Fennel

Increases appetite. It is beneficial in mangoes and peaches. Fennel extract is also beneficial in liver diseases and problems caused by excess fat. In addition, it can reduce thirst and anxiety. It is beneficial in bile, fever, indigestion, colic, and eye diseases.

Khamira Gavjawan

Gives strength to the heart and mind. Also, it can help to treat nervousness and mental problems. Reduces thirst and it’s beneficial for the eyes. Moreover, it’s beneficial for cough, breathing (asthma), gonorrhea, etc. Quantity: 10 to 25 grams, take it slowly if a small spoon, morning and evening.

Khamira Sandal

Reduces internal heat, reduces thirst, gives strength to the heart, and especially reduces heart palpitations. Beneficial in gastric irritation, dry mouth, nervousness, burning sensation, nausea due to heat, and urine inflammation. Eat 10 to 25 grams little by little in the morning, afternoon, and evening pure or with extract Gavjwan.

Gulkand with coral

Removes constipation and increases digestive power. Also, it can give strength to the heart, lungs, and brain. In addition, it can help to reduce swelling and heat of the liver. All people should consume it in the summer. Take 10 to 25 grams with cold water or milk in the morning.

Majoon Mullayan

Majoon is famous for helping digestion. Moreover, it is the best medicine for piles patients. Dosage: 10 grams of Majoon with milk at bedtime.

Vinegar Sugarcane

Digestive, appetizing, strengthening, voice purifying, improving breathing. It also can treat fever, and reduce vata. Quantity 10 to 25 ml after breakfast and dinner.

Vinegar Jamun

Beneficial for liver and fat problems. Also, it can improve food digestion, increase appetite, and help with urine issues. In addition, it’s a famous medicine to remove spleen worms. Quantity: 10 to 25 ml after breakfast and dinner.

Lemon and orange peels

Dry lemon and orange peels and keep them in the cupboard, then crickets and other insects run away from their fragrance. The smoke produced by burning such dry peels kills mosquitoes. Clean your teeth with their ashes, then the foul smell goes away. Rubbing the remaining part after squeezing lemon on the skin reduces the greasiness of the skin, but be careful with sunlight, wash your face, and use sunscreen before exposing your skin to the sun. Rubbing also reduces pimples and brightens the complexion. Brass and copper utensils are made shiny by this.

Rubbing lemon peels on elbows and nails reduces dark spots. You can make a delicious chutney by grinding these peels with salt, asafoetida, chili, and sugar. Orange juice not only makes the face radiant, but if the peels are dried in the shade and ground, then it works as an emollient, by which the spots on the face are removed and the skin becomes beautiful. In addition, bathing with orange peel in water removes the bad smell of sweat and brings freshness.

Myrobalan

Myrrh decoction is beneficial for skin allergies. Make a decoction by boiling the fruit of myrobalan in water and consuming it regularly twice a day gives quick relief. Wash Allergy-affected parts with this decoction. Similarly, in case of fungal allergy or infection, apply a paste made of myrobalan fruit and turmeric on the affected area twice a day, and continue using this paste till the skin becomes normal. Gargling with myrobalan is beneficial when there is swelling in the mouth.

Also, mixing the paste of myrobalan with thin buttermilk and gargling provides relief from the swelling of the gums. Similarly, applying the powder of myrobalan on the aching tooth also reduces the pain. Harad is a healthy tonic, using which the hair looks shiny and attractive. Make a paste by boiling the myrobalan fruit in coconut oil (till the myrobalan dissolves completely) and apply it on the hair or consume 3-5 grams of myrobalan powder daily with a glass of water. The pulp of myrobalan is also beneficial in relieving constipation. Eat this pulp with a pinch of salt or take it with 1/2 gram of clove or cinnamon.

Guava

Rubbing raw guava on a stone and applying it for a week can end migraine pain. Do this experiment in the morning.

Mixing 10 grams juice of fresh guava leaves and 10 grams powdered sugar candy and taking it on an empty stomach for 21 days in the morning opens up the appetite and also increases the beauty of the body.

Take 100 grams seedless pieces of fresh guava and soak it in cold water for 4 hours. After this, take out the pieces of guava and throw them away. If you have diabetes, drinking this water is beneficial.

Wrapping a small piece of catechu in a fresh guava leaf and chewing it like a betel leaf cures mouth ulcers. Also, eating 50 grams of the pulp of ripe guava with 10 grams of honey increases strength and vigor in the body.

Eating guava after a meal in the morning and evening strengthens the digestive system. Furthermore, irritability and mental tension can go away.

Herbal black tea as ayurvedic medicine

Patalkot is a tourist area and tea is an important part of hospitality among tribal people here. For tremendous sweetness, this tea is made without milk and while sipping tea, when these tribals are asked the reason for the sweetness of this tea, the answer is equally sweet, ‘Sweetness like this tea in the relationship between you and us’.

Well, to prepare this tea, boil 2 cups of water until about one cup of tea remains, and then add one teaspoon of black tea, after 8 minutes add 3 teaspoons of sugar and serve. According to herbal experts, sweet tea plays an active role in calming the mind, which means it helps in reducing stress. Modern research also proves this quality of tea. It is true if the sweetness of tea brings so much strength to relationships, it automatically removes the tension in our life.

Gouti Tea: herbal ayurvedic medicine

In Bundelkhand, you are often honored with Gauti tea or green tea. The form of this tea, popularly known as lemongrass, is like grass. A sip of this tea with a slight aroma of lemon brings amazing freshness. Boil two cups of water until it remains one cup, then add three crushed leaves of lemon grass wait eight minutes and add sugar as per taste. At last, those who like the taste of ginger can add a pinch of crushed ginger to it. Don’t use milk in this tea.

Gauti tea is an incredible ayurvedic herbal medicine, it has amazing anti-oxidant properties and is very effective in controlling any type of infection inside the body. Sour Gouti Tea

While making Gauti tea, put peels of orange or lemon and add some lemon juice and serve your sour Gauti tea. You can see this type of hospitality in the Gondwana region of central India. Originally practiced among the Gond, Korku, and Baiga groups, this tea also has wonderful medicinal properties. Masala Tea

If you go to any village in Gujarat, Masala Chai will always be ready to welcome you as a guest. Buttermilk or tea is often served in homes for hospitality. If you are a tea lover they will serve you Masala Chai. In order to make this tea, prepare a spice by mixing black pepper, dry ginger, basil, cinnamon, small cardamom, large cardamom, peppermint, nutmeg, and clove. Add a pinch of that spice to the boiling water of tea leaves and milk. Delicious Masala Chai when served to you, not only tastes amazing but also invigorates the body, since the medicinal properties of this tea are amazing.

Saidi or sweet tea of Bastar

Due to the presence of honey, this tea is called Shahadi Chai or Saidi Chai. If you go to any remote village of Dantewada, they will welcome you with Saidi tea. In order to make this tea, whisk two teaspoons of tea leaves with two teaspoons of honey and about two teaspoons of milk. Boil two cups of water in a vessel. When the water starts to boil, add the whipped mixture. If required, you can add a little quantity of ginger, and plain tea is ready. It is believed that this tea brings great energy to the body. Honey, ginger, and tea have medicinal properties that combined make a wonderful tonic.

coriander tea: herbal ayurvedic medicine

In many parts of Rajasthan, coriander tea is given according to health improvement. Boil two cups of water for two minutes. Add cumin, coriander, tea leaves, and some amount of fennel. Add sugar and ginger as per taste. It is more delicious by adding honey instead of sugar. People suffering from throat problems, indigestion, and gas are given this tea. This ayurvedic herbal tea is a medicine that improves health along with taste, and is known as coriander tea.

liquorice tea

This tea, known as Jethimad tea in Saurashtra, is known as Mulethi tea in central India. Add a pinch of licorice while preparing ordinary tea, to infuse a new type of fragrance in the tea that makes it tastes delicious. People suffering from asthma and cold cough should take this tea two to three times a day, it is believed that due to the properties of licorice, tea is very beneficial for health.

To avoid the summer heat and heat stroke, boil water and then add the juice of one lemon, some tea leaves, and lemongrass. Serve it cold.
