Spicy barley porridge

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup (200 ml) barley flakes
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tbsp vegetable broth powder

Instructions
 

  • Add the water, barley flakes, flaxseeds, and spices in a pan and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Let it soak for another 5 minutes.
  • It can be transformed into a quick, easy lunch. For that add some extra grated vegetables, like carrots, or eat a salad as a side dish.
