Spicy barley porridge
Ingredients
- 1 cup (200 ml) barley flakes
- 1 tbsp flaxseed
- 3 cups water
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable broth powder
Instructions
- Add the water, barley flakes, flaxseeds, and spices in a pan and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Let it soak for another 5 minutes.
- It can be transformed into a quick, easy lunch. For that add some extra grated vegetables, like carrots, or eat a salad as a side dish.
