Add the water, barley flakes, flaxseeds, and spices in a pan and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Let it soak for another 5 minutes.
It can be transformed into a quick, easy lunch. For that add some extra grated vegetables, like carrots, or eat a salad as a side dish.
