Let’s talk about Ujjayi Pranayama, Ujjayi comes from Sanskrit and means victory, so it can be translated as the victory breathing technique. This Pranayama has many health benefits and is very easy to do.

Ujjayi Pranayama

  1. Sit with your spine and neck erect;
  2. Inhale through the nose;
  3. Exhale all the air through your nose;
  4. Focus on contracting and closing your throat and inhale through your nose, forcing the air down your throat.
  5. Contracting your throat again, exhale through your nose;
  6. Repeat 7 to 10 times.

Step-by-step

Lower your head, trying to touch your chin to your chest. In this position, notice that your throat feels a little closed. We will close it, causing a similar sensation in this Pranayama during breathing.

Repeat 7 to 10 times.

At first, you shouldn’t notice much, but over time practicing Ujjayi Pranayama, you will feel a lot in the throat area.
