Benefits:
According to Ayurveda teachings and principles, Ashwagandha root is considered pungent, slightly sweet, and oily.
Mainly due to its heating effect, Ashwagandha root has the quality of reducing Vata and Kapha.
Another great attribute of ashwagandha is that belongs to the so-called adaptogens, among other plants like Rhodiola, ginseng, or maca.
An adaptogen is intended to help the organism to adapt to the effects of emotional and physical stress.
In very simple terms, adaptogenic herbs can reduce imbalances in the body due to stress due to their biologically active ingredients.
For a restful sleep, different factors play an important role. Having a routine at night, like sipping on a tasty glass of moon milk, reducing artificial lighting, taking a cozy bath, and practicing a relaxing technique, can make your sleep more enjoyable and overall healthier.
